Loams Cloud · coming soon

Don't rent a cloud. Loam it.

Loams Cloud is a free, hosted try-out of Loams. It is a preview, run on a best-effort basis, and invite-only: invites go out by email from a waitlist. The waitlist is coming soon, and there is no sign-up form yet. Until it opens, Discord is the way to register interest. Loams is free and open source, and it runs on ground you own: it is Apache-2.0, with no open core, so everything the try-out runs you can run yourself today.

What it is and isn't

A way to try Loams, not a place to run it.

  1. Free

    A hosted try-out

Sign up, connect your own machines and try Loams without setting anything up first. There is no paid tier.

  2. Preview

    Best effort and invite-only

It is a preview. There is no SLA and no support contract, and access opens in small groups, by invite link sent to your email.

  3. Ostrium hosts

    Sign-up and the control plane

Accounts, and the control plane that coordinates your machines. That is all Ostrium runs.

  4. You host

    The engine, compute and data

The engine and the compute run on ground you own, on your laptop, homelab or servers. Ostrium never hosts the engine, your production data or a relay for your traffic.

Every deployment ships with its own console, and so does Loams Desktop; The Farmhouse has both. Read the docs, follow the blog or watch the engine repository for releases.
